My Journey Continues...

My clinic is the result of a deep, personal passion for holistic, expert and patient centred care. Recognising the need for care that encompasses the whole family, I was inspired to create a space where compassion and comprehensive support meet, guiding each family through their journey.

Every family has a unique story, and supporting them navigate their journey with empathy and expertise is my privilege.

Specialist Expert Infant Feeding Services in Peterborough and surounding counties

I have received training to provide expert support for breastfeeding mothers by undertaking degree level education and examination and providing evidence of over 2.5 thousand hours of breastfeeding support for mothers to be eligible.

This is the highest internationally recognised qualification in lactation, and we are required to evidence professional development every five years to stay on the register.

Lactation consultants, have the knowledge and skills to support mothers and families with complex issues as well as giving evidence-based advice to support any parent on their journey. We also have the training to support families with complex feeding issues.

There is a variety of levels of support for breastfeeding, and you may consider accessing a breastfeeding counsellor, specialist or consultant, but the credential of an IBCLC guarantees a professional is regulated and follows a strict code of conduct.

You can check the registry for individuals’ qualifications.

As an IBCLC of 16 year’s experience I can offer you and your family advice and support in all aspects of infant feeding.

You may have issues with:

• Facilitating baby’s latch to the breast/chest

• Concerns regarding milk supply and supplementation

• Baby’s suboptimal weight gain or loss

• Difficulty weaning off shields

• Feeding premature babies or twins

• Sore nipple, mastitis or engorgement

• Symptoms of reflux or excess wind

I also offer support to prepare for your feeding journey antenatally and offer advice and guidance to all clients up to baby’s first birthday as I am passionate about supporting a positive weaning journey.
